  THE DEER Here is a story on when my family and me ran over a deer. It was a cold night when the accident happened. The moon was glistening and the stars were shining bright. The trees were dimly lit by the car's headlamps. The car was silent as we traveled alone on the road. The radio was playing some very soft music. Then, it happened. I saw movement on the right side of the car and then everything went slow. There was a large object flying towards the car. It came at us running and jumped into the side car. My mom screamed while trying to slow the car down, but it didn't work. I knew that the deer had died on impact because of the speed that we and him were going. The deer had split into many different parts, most of them had flown over the car and into the other side of traffic.
