The Power of Reading in 2021 - Teen Financial Freedom

Reading, when I think about reading I always think about how fun it can be, and how it can be good for you. But do you actually know what it does for you? While reading, as we all know, can help you to grow your vocabulary. But can it also help to grow your brain, or maybe even help you live longer?

Studies have shown that the more that you read the more it can help your brain in different ways. One way that is commonly known is how it can improve your memory. This happened because while you are reading it helps your brain function more. And reading has also shown to increase your lifespan.

There are other ways that increasing your reading can improve your brain. Reading can improve brain connectivity, reduce stress which also helps it longer your life span, lowers blood pressure and heart rate, fights depression symptoms, helps you empathize with other people, helps you to fall asleep, prevents cognitive decline as you age, and increases vocabulary. I feel that all of these are reasons why you should start to read more often. Also there are so many amazing books to read and they can interest you and they can help you physically as well.

I honestly do believe that books are a great option and that they are something that everyone should have. I believe that, if people were to open up to books they could do so much for you . Overall I find it so cool how a book can do so many things for people.

  2. I have always lost myself in books. I feel sorry for people who have not yet found their escape in this way.
